Responsibilities
Legal Assistant will be assigned one (1) litigation partner and manage and maintain the partner's calendar, including tracking litigation deadlines and scheduling meetings, depositions, and court appearances.Assist with case management from inception through trial, including organizing case files, managing discovery documents, and coordinating with clients and opposing counsel.Prepare and draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence.Coordinate and manage document production and document review.Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial binders.Liaise with clients, witnesses, experts, and other law firms to coordinate meetings, interviews, and depositions.Maintain and update case management system and ensure all case-related materials are complete, current, and stored appropriately.Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant in a law firm environment.Proficiency in calendaring litigation deadlines and managing complex case files.Extensive experience in preparing and drafting a wide range of legal documents.Familiarity with legal research and ability to assist with the preparation of legal arguments.Proficient in the use of legal software for case management, document review, and electronic discovery.Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.Equal Opportunity
