Currently using Grasso, BAC, Evapco equipment. Ammonia Handling certificate. Knowledge of blast freezers Eurotek and Starfrost plus Coldstore systems. Desirable : Experience within a FMCG environment Working knowledge of complex refrigeration systems both mechanically & electrically Effluent treatment and steam experience Forklift Truck Licence Good team worker, Works to a high degree of accuracy. Can work on own initiative and as part of a team, practical and pragmatic. Works to a high degree of accuracy. Smart appearance; pleasant manner; easy to work with; approachable. High standard of confidentiality. Excellent Communication Skills.
Overview
Job Title : Refrigeration Engineer
Salary : £48,455
Shift Pattern : M-F, 8am-5pm
Reporting to : Site Services Supervisor - Site Services Manager
Location : Norfolk (exact location given if interested in the role).
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment across our production facilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues related to refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and refrigerant usage.
- Collaborate with other engineering and production teams to ensure reliable operations.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to stay updated on new technologies and industry standards.
