Ellis Machinery & Equipment sells and services CNC Machine Tools. Currently we are looking to bring on a CNC Machinery Service Technician to join our team!

In this role, you would be the point person for any machine repairs, installation of new machines as well as preventative maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and likes being onsite with customers. You'll be able to work both independently and as part of a team environment. If you enjoy working with machinery and solving problems, this could be the perfect job for you!

Home Base : Fife, WA

Schedule : Full time. Varies from day to day but typically starting around 6 : 00 am.

Pay : upwards from $34 / hr DOE

As a CNC Machinery Technician, here are some typical duties :

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of CNC Machinery.
• Repair mechanical components including bearings, drive belts, ball screws, and spindles.
• Identify potential issues with machinery and equipment.
• Complete reports, recommendations, and all documentation.
• Travel to customer sites / facilities in the Pacific Northwest primarily along the I5 corridor.
• Conduct on-site training and technical support for customers.
• Communicate effectively with management, employees, and vendors.
• Perform duties with a sense of urgency and focus on safety.
