Responsibilities

• The Meter Installation Technician objective is to provide service for the installation of meters at utility locations. Primarily responsibilities will include : Managing a daily schedule for work accomplishment, accountability of assigned meters, conducting work within a Work Order Management system, removal of old meters, installation of new meters for residential and commercial uses. High level of public interaction is required working in an outdoor environment.
• Removal of old electric meter with the re-installation of a new electric meter
• Performs meter change outs per a specified manner.
• Conduct work through a Work Order system
• Manage all inventory of new and old meters
• Working with utility personnel and utility consumers
• Responsible use of a company truck
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned or required.
