We’re looking for a  Staff Accountant  to join a well-established and respected CPA firm in Wheat Ridge, CO. With decades of expertise serving clients across industries like construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience and build a rewarding career in public accounting.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare individual, business, and trust tax returns
  • Support audits and assurance projects, including financial statement prep and analysis
  • Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Research tax and accounting issues to support senior team members and managers
  • Collaborate with a talented team to deliver timely, high-quality client service
  • Participate in client meetings and communications to build strong relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA track or licensure in progress a plus)
  • 1–3 years’ experience in public accounting (audit and / or tax); recent graduates with internships are encouraged to apply
  • Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office + accounting / tax software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented professional who communicates clearly and thrives in a collaborative environment
