Job Summary
Coordinate the department's employee training and apprenticeship program and maintain and manage databases (e.g., AIM, Workday) that provide accurate staffing and scheduling for all area maintenance. This position interacts regularly with management and staff and provides guidance to staff. This role does not supervise others.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the employee training program, including scheduling and notifying training courses, maintaining records of training and attendance, arranging meeting rooms, setting up training equipment and visual aids, and coordinating training with Department Management Inspectors and Supervisors.
- Coordinate with management inspectors and supervisors; create presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe) for standard procedures.
- Maintain the department database, including obtaining up-to-date information, data entry, and preparing reports and operating schedules for Department supervisors and managers.
- Conduct follow-up to determine effectiveness of departmental training programs and staffing reports and systems; recommend corrective action as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong working knowledge of contract management.Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
Solid working knowledge of custodial work processes and housekeeping technology; working knowledge in audio visual services, project management, data reporting, data compilation, and customer / client / vendor relations.Interpersonal communication skills such as advising, recommending, exchanging information, influencing, and troubleshooting.Ability to lead group communications and prepare written communications; computer skills to search files, generate standard reports, perform data entry, edit information in spreadsheets, ensure data integrity, and design programs and reports.Equal Employment Opportunity
