Forklift Driver
Under the direction of supervision, the Forklift driver is responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities
Production
- Pull, deliver and stage all materials needed verifying they are correct to the appropriate area.
- Remove all finished goods from departments using the yield calculation program and radio frequency Gun unit to weigh and transport materials to the next step.
- Re-verification of material weight and product quantity for shipment of finished product.
- Deliver skids samples when appropriate to their respected area.
- Utilize the yield calculation program to weigh waste and rework, completing all necessary paperwork, discard and delivery to their appropriate area.
- Pulls / fills orders per pick sheets and complete stock transfers.
- Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines and ensures multiple rooms are stocked with all items needed throughout the work day.
- May use power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment.
- Utilize company ERP system to perform inventory transactions completing all necessary paperwork.
- Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
- Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
- Order supplies for the department when applicable.
- Keep the department clean, including sweeping and mopping floors, light laundry, collecting and disposing of trash, wiping down doors, work stations and other areas.
- Assist in the removal or reassembly of ancillary equipment.
- Work overtime and perform other duties as required.

Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.Maintain clean work environment at all times.Ensure proper labeling of finished product while completing all necessary paperwork.Health and Safety

Experience
Minimum : 3 months experience in material handling, warehouse operations or similar in a manufacturing environment.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
Computing skills Capacity to perform basic computer transactions.
Language skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Mathematical skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning ability - Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Moderate to high levels of noise requires awareness to surrounding due to equipment in use.Working environment may be dusty, oily and / or slippery.Slip-resistant or steel toe safety shoes are required.Personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Dust mask, gloves and goggles may be required in designated areas.
