Chaplain

Summary :

The Chaplain role provides and coordinates all spiritual care services by providing spiritual care assessment and spiritual / emotional care interventions and support.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education : Bachelor's or Master's level Degree in Theology, or a Master's Degree in Counseling or Divinity preferred. 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) may be required. 4 units of CPE preferred.
• License / Certifications : Currently licensed and / or ordained within a recognized faith community required . Board Certification by the APC, NACC, NAJC, CAPPE, or SCA preferred. Valid Driver's License required .
• Experience : Relevant experience in the provision of professional ministry or chaplaincy required . Experience working with patients / families dealing with life-threatening illness and death required .
