Our client, based in Horsham, PA, is seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain.

Position Overview
The Director of Supply Chain will lead the strategic planning and execution of end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability to meet evolving business needs. This role partners closely with sales, marketing, product development, finance, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals and deliver seamless cross-functional execution.
Success in this position requires a strong command of market dynamics, supplier networks, and logistical complexities to optimize performance, mitigate risk, and support the company’s long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate brings a proven ability to balance strategic vision with operational excellence, driving continuous improvement and exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute scalable supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and support growthLead, mentor, and develop the operations team across planning, logistics, and inventory management, fostering accountability and continuous improvementOversee the end-to-end S&OP process to ensure accurate supply planning and timely fulfillment of market demandCollaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align forecasts and supply chain planning with business needsOptimize inventory deployment strategies to balance cost efficiency, stock availability, and customer satisfactionNegotiate freight rates and contracts, managing logistics provider relationships to control costs and ensure service qualityLeverage data, technology, and automation to enhance forecasting, improve inventory management, and increase responsiveness to market shiftsDefine and track key supply chain KPIs, analyze performance, and provide actionable insights to leadershipDrive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to improve overall supply chain efficiencyIdentify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and apply lean principles to streamline processes and eliminate wasteQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering or FinanceMBA preferred10 years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership rolesExperience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsExperience with Global supply chainExperience in managing and implementing S&OP processStrong negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management skillsExperience in ERP / MRP systems (Prophet 21, SQL, Smoothie)Supply chain certificationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills
