Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of Level 1 Trauma experience and current BLS, RCS or ARDMS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a non-invasive cardiology setting focused on adult cardiac ultrasound services
  • Procedures include transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
  • Shifts are AM, with schedule Sunday 6 : 00am-2 : 00pm and Monday-Thursday 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm
  • Level 1 Trauma experience required
  • Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures for adult patients, including image acquisition and interpretation support
  • Assist physicians in procedure and operating rooms during echocardiography studies as needed
  • May assist with transesophageal studies and post-procedure equipment maintenance
  • Act as a resource for staff and contribute to quality protocols and accreditation activities
  • Solid color scrubs (top and pants) are required and must be purchased by the candidate

  • Active TX license required if applicable
  • BLS and either RCS or ARDMS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac sonography experience in a trauma environment
  • Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season
  • Two professional references required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility as no local travelers are accepted
