Strategic thinker with a user-first mindset and high attention to detail. Experience building or contributing to design systems is a plus. We’re looking for a UX Design Manager to lead the strategy and execution of user-centered design across web and mobile products. This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll design engaging digital experiences, shape UX best practices, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and agency partners to deliver seamless, impactful user experiences.
This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days onsite in the Newark, NJ area.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX and UI design across web and mobile platforms, from concept to delivery.
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling interfaces.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure designs align with business goals and are implemented with accuracy.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate and refine design concepts.
- Manage and collaborate with external design agencies when scaling design capabilities.
- Establish design systems, patterns, and processes that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions and optimize user experiences.
- Mentor and support future design hires as the team grows.
