Compactor / Baler Technician with hydraulic experience

Blankenship Equipment Repair  is a compacting and recycling business serving the Pacific Northwest and Canada.  We are growing and have an opening for compactor / baler technician.  We are looking for someone with strong mechanical abilities and who can learn at a moderate pace.  Listed below are the desired skills / experience.  Candidates do not need to posses all skills but should have experience in a few, we will teach the rest.   Desired skills / experience :

• Hydraulic- Basic Knowledge  Hydraulic hoses and fittings Solenoid valves Electrical – Basic Knowledge  Diagrams Switches Relays Electric Motors Multimeters and Testing Mechanical aptitude –Strong Breakdown and Assembly Proper use of hand tools Welding / Cutting / Fabrication -Confident SMAW – Stick welding- various.
• GMAW – Mig welding Oxy / Acetylene heating and cutting.
• Plasma Cutting.
• Grinding.
• Practical fabrication and measuring.
