Job Summary :

The Mechanical Engineer is accountable for the mechanical design and development of existing and new products. This position is responsible for collaborating with clients, cross-functional support departments, and production to ensure project completion.

Essential Functions :

• Design and develop new product from concept to production, including layout, prototype, testing and documentation
• Provide service that meet and exceed both internal and external client expectations, providing knowledge, advice, and decisions during the project development process
• Efficiently and effectively design products with industry standard using CAD software
• Develop testing methods and perform testing activities to evaluate product performance
• Conduct design reviews, and ensure schedule adherence for product release
• Provide training and support to manufacturing staff, communicating design status, and support any cross-functional teams for products
• Evaluate production runs as required and work with Engineering and Production Leadership to optimize production flow of the product
• Work with Production Operations to resolve daily design request or changes
• Continuously seek process improvement, evaluate product issues, identify corrective action and manage change to completion
