The Moda Wellness Clinic is opening Fall 2025. Training for all positions will begin on October 22 . Located in the Water Tower Building of Oregon's John's Landing neighborhood, Moda Wellness is offering its patients curated, future forward care through an integrated approach that will help our patients feel, live and look their best.
Major Purpose
The Moda Wellness Clinic (MWC) Medical Assistant (MA) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused care. Under the direction of the Medical Director and general supervision of the Operations Manager, the MA works closely with Aestheticians and Aesthetic Nurse Injectors to provide comprehensive clinical and operational support throughout the clinic. This position is integral to MWC’s operations and is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about exceptional patient care. Blending functional medicine with aesthetics, the role offers learning opportunities and is well-suited for individuals who are curious, with strong value alignment, and committed to whole-body wellness.
Pay Range
$22.60 - $31.07 hourly, depending on experience. Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome and prepare patients for evaluations, treatments, and procedures.Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and intake information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).Maintain clean, stocked, and ready clinical areas and equipment to support safe and efficient care delivery.Perform blood draws and collect lab specimens for testing, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.Support IV therapy setup and monitoring; may administer vitamin infusions under supervision.Assist with aesthetic treatments (e.g., LED light therapy, skin preparation) and post-care instructions.Educate patients on treatment protocols, supplements, and aftercare as directed.Assist with regenerative procedures by preparing materials (e.g., PRP, peptides) and supporting the care team.Monitor inventory and stock medical and wellness supplies; reorder as needed.Ensure complete and accurate documentation in the EHR.Support front office functions such as scheduling, check-in, and patient communication.Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control standards, and all clinic policies.Participate in team meetings, training, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Proficiency Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.Current Medical Assistant certification (e.g., NCMA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from an NCCA-accredited body, valid in the State of Oregon.Current CPR / BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical, dermatology, plastic surgery, or healthcare setting.Proficiency in phlebotomy preferred; willingness to complete a training or refresher course if needed.Proficiency with EHR systems, preferably Nextech, and basic computer skills.Familiarity with common aesthetic procedures preferred; willingness to learn advanced treatments.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with strong attention to detail.Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and sound judgment skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with wellness clinic standards.Working Conditions & Contact with Others
Clinic environment with prolonged periods of standing, reaching, and repetitive movement. May involve bending, kneeling, or lifting up to 25 lbs. to support treatment preparation. Exposure to clinical products is expected. Schedule may require work in excess of standard hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs. Must be comfortable working in both traditional and holistic medical environments, supporting integrative care models.Internally with clinic staff and various Moda departments.
