The EHS Engineer is responsible for developing policies and programs in support of environmental health and safety initiatives ensuring effective and efficient compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and agencies.

• Develops and implements site specific industrial safety, hygiene, and environmental policies and programs in accordance with governmental and company guidelines.
• Develops site specific training materials for industrial safety, hygiene, and environmental programs.
• Conducts EHS training in accordance with company requirements.
• Supports and monitors incident reporting and investigations.
• Inspects facility to identify existing or potentially hazardous conditions.
• Recommends corrective / preventive measures to reduce risk
• Promotes a safe working environment and increase safety awareness.
• Reviews environmental data / information for quality, accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
