Job Title : Tool & Die Maker - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for our 2nd Shift operations. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in die maintenance and troubleshooting within a metal stamping manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain close tolerance, compound, blank, draw, and progressive dies.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on dies.
• Troubleshoot dies in the pressroom as needed.
• Operate basic toolroom equipment safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Create and inspect spare parts and piece parts.
• Generate sketches and drawings from concepts.
• Log die performance and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize basic computer and AutoCAD skills for documentation and design.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a metal stamping manufacturing environment. The 2nd shift hours are from 3 : 00 pm to 12 : 30 am, with an average of 5 hours of overtime per week. The role involves working with toolroom equipment and interpreting technical designs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Arlington Heights, Illinois.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $80000.00 / yr.
