Schedule : Full-time (some late afternoon / evening availability preferred)
About the Role
Were seeking a compassionate, outcomes-focused Outpatient Therapist to provide short-term individual and family counseling for youth and caregivers. This role is ideal for clinicians who love direct care now and want the option to expand into BSFT (Brief Strategic Family Therapy) and ICC (High-Fidelity Wraparound) with paid training and supervision.
What Youll Do (Outpatient Focus)
- Provide evidence-based outpatient therapy (CBT-oriented; brief, goal-driven) to youth and families.
- Complete intakes, treatment plans with measurable objectives, progress notes, and discharge summaries on time.
- Integrate practical skills : emotion regulation, communication coaching, problem-solving, and school / home routines.
- Coordinate care with schools, primary care, DSS / DJJ when relevant; provide concise updates as needed.
- Track outcomes (attendance, behavior incidents, caregiver reports) and adjust plans accordingly.
- Participate in supervision / consultation and contribute to a supportive team culture.

BSFT Therapist Path : Company-sponsored training and ongoing model consultation; shift a portion of your caseload to family-based BSFT work.ICC Provider Path : Training in High-Fidelity Wraparound; coordinate cross-system teams (PO / school / DSS / caregivers), aligning services under one plan.Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.Virginia license or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Resident / Supervisee with active Board approval).Experience providing therapy to youth and families.Strong clinical writing, boundaries, and crisis de-escalation skills.Reliable transportation to serve clients across the Richmond region.Preferred
Familiarity with brief treatment models (CBT, MI, TF-CBT elements), and collaboration with schools / DJJ / DSS.Comfort with home / community sessions and practical, skills-based interventions.Interest in formal training for BSFT and / or ICC.What We Offer
