Our hiring team is searching for someone with the following experience :

Responsibilities

• Provides concrete support for national construction projects
• Directs administration and training of construction personnel for national construction projects
• Develops standard operating procedures for construction execution to minimize cost and duration
• Monitors, evaluates, and reports civil performance of assigned construction projects to the Operations Manager
• Provides recommendations to Operations Manager regarding project civil staff assignments / teams
• Acts as liaison between construction and engineering for all concrete-related matters
• Ensures all Construction Projects meet client-specified civil quality standards
• Supports site Superintendents in developing SOPs, manpower and equipment-loaded schedules (fragnet), staging plans, bill of materials, quality control plans
• Leads weekly civil superintendent calls on safety, quality, productivity, and resource needs
• Establishes and maintains relationships with clients, alliance partners, subcontractors, and project teams
• Communicates lessons learned
• Reviews project budget / unit rates with assigned superintendent and ensures alignment with company earning rules
• Coordinates and tracks equipment assignments with site teams and CEFs; maintains updates
• Directs corrective action for discipline problems or poor performance
• Keeps Department and Human Resources informed as required
• Enforces and interprets division and department policies, standards, and procedures
• Provides supervision, training, development, and performance management of direct reports
• Adheres to safety and quality standards
• Identifies and assesses opportunities for improvement; champions continuous improvement efforts
• Supports change management related to improvements
• Encourages staff to engage in continuous improvement activities
• Travel to support sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction or heavy industrial experience preferred, or relevant experience. 3+ years of construction management experience. Work Environment / Physical Demands

Physical Demands : Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move and walk in varied environments; see / hear with / without correction; full range of motion; use hands for control; repetitive movement; may work above 5 feet; climb and balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds; work up to 12-hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.

Work Environment : Typical construction site environment; cramped spaces; extreme temperatures; exposure to dust, wind, snow, rain, bright or low lighting; noisy environments; hazardous equipment; and typical office environments. This position is considered safety sensitive.
