Position Summary :

We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and passionate Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, supporting their growth and development through age-appropriate activities and consistent care. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of infant development, and a commitment to creating a partnership with families.

Responsibilities :

• Provide a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months.
• Implement daily lesson plans based on Frogstreet's Infant Curriculum.
• Maintain regular communication with parents about their child's progress, routines, and any concerns.
• Observe and document each child’s development and share progress during parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing and safety standards.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides in the infant room.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including diapering and feeding procedures.

Qualifications :

Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday.

Location : Central Early Learning Center (9739 Joor Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70818).

Compensation : Based on experience and education level + Benefits (if applicable).
