Technical Architect (Salesforce)

Location : United States (Fully Remote)

As a Thunder Technical Architect (TA), you'll not only design and deliver cutting-edge Salesforce solutions but also play a key role in pre-sales efforts by showcasing how our solutions can solve real-world business challenges.

Thunder's TA leads and collaborates with our customers' technology and business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce architecture, vision, and strategy that enables business outcomes. They hold responsibility for the technical design of any integration or development, as well as technology selection and development methodology. The ideal TA will have a proven track record in pre-sales, technical consulting, and Salesforce architecture. You serve as a Technical leader for customer engagements, simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences while inspiring trust and excitement in the Salesforce platform. Technical Architects at Thunder are problem-solvers, consulting closely with their teammates and our customers' teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Support : Partner with the sales team to present innovative Salesforce solutions to prospects, conduct technical discovery sessions, and build trust with potential clients.
• Solution Design : Translate business needs into robust Salesforce architectures, ensuring scalability and alignment with customer goals.
• Technical Expertise : Demonstrate mastery in system design, Salesforce development (Apex, Flows, Lightning Components), and API integration. Ensure that the project systems meet the expectations of the client's business, that proper testing is conducted, and performance is monitored by overseeing the development team.
• Leadership : Mentor development teams, enforce best practices, and ensure the quality of deliverables. Help to define and enforce coding and documentation standards at Thunder.
• Collaboration : Align closely with sales, project management, and technical teams to deliver a seamless customer experience from pre-sales through delivery. Partner with offshore and nearshore resources to conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, and clarify design decisions.
• Continuous Learning : Remain current on Salesforce products and technical capabilities. Demonstrate thought leadership through blog writing, public speaking, and client presentations.

Qualifications

Key areas of expertise we're looking for : Agentforce, Service Cloud, Mulesoft, RCA, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, AWS / Amazon Connect, etc
