Key Responsibilities :

• Case Evaluation : Review and assess incoming personal injury claims for investment potential, including liability, damages, medical records, and venue.
• Portfolio Oversight : Monitor the status and performance of funded PI claims; liaise with external counsel to ensure timely case movement and strategic alignment.
• Litigation Management : Analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement posture of active cases; flag legal risk and case progression concerns.
• Due Diligence : Support underwriting efforts by reviewing legal documents, medical records, and insurance coverage; identify red flags and provide strategic recommendations.
• Firm Communications : Serve as the primary point of contact for law firms managing our funded cases; support case strategy development and resolution planning.
• Reporting : Track key performance metrics for active claims and portfolios; deliver updates and insights to Legalist's internal team.
• Compliance : Ensure litigation activity is conducted in accordance with ethical standards, investment agreements, and applicable laws.
