We are looking to add a Business Systems Analyst to join our Creative Risk Solutions team in Waukee, IA. This team member will be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for new systems or enhancements. Acts as a liaison between IT and users, combining business and technical expertise to deliver optimal systems solutions. Identifies, documents, reports, and tracks system issues. Responsibilities :
- Support business units with technology needs and recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document detailed business requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure correct implementation of requirements.
- Ensure consistent, accessible, secure, and reliable data across business systems.
- Serve as a liaison among business units, IT, and other stakeholders, facilitating meetings and feedback sessions.
- Support system change testing and validation to meet business requirements.
- Train and support end-users on new systems and processes.
- Mentor junior Business Systems Analysts.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies.
- Develop disaster recovery plans and backup strategies.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, information technology, computer science, or related field.Experience : Five+ years of progressively responsible experience with business systems analysis, including system development, system configuration, business process analysis, and project management.Licensing : Business Analyst certification (e.g. IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) a plus).Skills & Technical Competencies : Proven technical, problem-solving, and Business Analyst skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience with MS Visio, JIRA, and Confluence preferred. Salesforce and basic insurance knowledge preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and detail orientation. Invests in the development of technical knowledge, understands business needs to make informed decisions and deliver technology solutions, including effective related processes and procedures. Ability to efficiently identify problem(s), leverage resources to determine root cause(s) and propose and implement solutions or make improvements.About Us :
