Security Officer Unarmed Distribution Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Distribution Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. By fostering positive interactions and upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation, you will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the operations of a dynamic workplace.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
  • Observe for any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the facility and report findings according to company protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and visitors to support a secure environment.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
