Job Description American Traveler is hiring experienced RNs for the Med / Surg Staffing Resource Team, requiring recent trauma experience and the ability to float between units.

Responsibilities Work in the hospital Med / Surg Staffing Resource Team with assignment to multiple Med / Surg units as needed

Float between Med / Surg units including 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED, and PACU

May provide coverage for ED and PACU borders and act as Deceased Patient Coordinator as required

Day / night rotation with a 36 hours per week schedule

May be assigned as Deceased Patient Coordinator depending on staffing needs

No local candidates accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility

Team-based environment with support for floating between various units

Candidates must maintain an active license throughout the assignment

Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license required, with proof of state residency

Current BLS certification required

Minimum of 2 years recent Med / Surg experience

Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience required within the last 2 years

Experience with float assignments highly preferred

Competency with chest tubes, lines / tubes / drains for post-surgical patients, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), trachs / laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and central line care and blood draws
