ERA Health Research is seeking a Full-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Redmond, WA. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity of clinical data within electronic data capture (EDC) systems. This role supports the Clinical Research team by maintaining high-quality standards for data entry, verification, and regulatory compliance.
This role offers a hybrid work model, with a combination of on-site and remote work.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Entry and Transcription : Accurately transcribe source data into EDC systems in accordance with study protocols and established standards.
- Data Integrity Verification : Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by cross-referencing it with source documents.
- Regulatory Compliance : Execute EDC activities in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Query Resolution : Respond promptly to data queries within the EDC system to support efficient trial operations.
- Quality Control (QC) : Collaborate with the clinical research team to perform quality control reviews of patient files, adhering to site-specific standards.
- Document Preparation and Management : Prepare and scan relevant documents into EDC systems and maintain databases according to organizational protocols.
- Monitoring Visit Preparation : Assist the clinical research team in preparing for onsite monitoring visits to ensure readiness and compliance with study requirements.
- Other Duties : this role may perform other tasks or projects as assigned by a supervisor or manager. These additional duties will fall within the scope of the role and contribute to the overall success of the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
High School DiplomaProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling dataExcellent time management and organizational skillsPreferred :
Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, or a related field1 year of data entry or administrative experience in a Healthcare or Clinical Research settingExperience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systemsExperience with Quality Control (QC) and database systemsFamiliarity with IRB documentation and compliancePAY & BENEFITS
Pay Range : $23.00 / hourly - $28.00 / hourly
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
