Program Manager III, Disaster Recovery, Google Cloud
A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Business Continuity and Resilience team, part of the High Priority Operational Risk Programs (HPOP) within Cloud CISO Risk and Compliance, supports operational resilience for Google Cloud. The team delivers a consistent framework for operational resilience, combining business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR), across operations and products. This is achieved by managing programs aligned with industry best practices and designed against likely disruption scenarios to meet regulatory and customer requirements. In this role, you will help drive and monitor the resilience of Google Cloud teams and products by implementing BC / DR requirements. You will be responsible for conducting business impact analyses, developing comprehensive plan documentation, and executing tests and exercises. You will help drive continuous improvement in the resilience posture through applying industry best practices into requirements, utilizing data analysis to inform leadership on current capabilities. As a member of the broader Risk and Compliance team, you will work with subject matter experts to interpret new requirements and integrate them into programs.
