The Opportunity :

Construction Management Internship / Co-Op On-site Dallas, TX (office 5 days + field as needed) Full Time - 40 hours per week Summer 2026

Our Construction Management Intern assists our general contracting division and supports our Project Management team with review of construction progress, documentation, reporting, and other project tasks for national commercial general contracting and military housing projects. We are looking for outgoing students that want to apply what they have learned in their Construction Management, Construction Science, or similar courses to real life experiences.

At Sevan you will be part of a team that is dynamic and fast paced. Strong communication skills and a desire to be involved in all aspects of a project life cycle are a must. Problem solving skills, thinking outside the box and dealing with ambiguity are skills that we value. You will work alongside and learn from experienced individuals as well as the opportunity to operate independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Learn project management skills through exposure to projects and programs for various large corporate clients
• Assist the Project Team with on-site review of construction progress against established project schedule
• Support Project Manager with monitoring and reporting on project work in the field
• Assist Project Team with project reporting and documentation requirements
• Assist in preparation of tracking and status reports, utilizing Excel
• General understanding of construction management terms and processes required
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors
• Contribute in validating and reviewing contracts, bill of materials, and change orders
• Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Work Conditions & Pay :

This is a 100% on-site position based in our Plano, TX corporate office. The position will be office based with recurring travel to project locations nationally. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules. Travel required (10-50%) on an as needed basis.

The anticipated compensation range for the position is an hourly rate of $19 - $21 based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
