Description

Engineer II performs routine tasks that provide experience with engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs. Works under close supervision but is expected to have some independence with engineering tasks.

Responsibilities include :

• Assist in development of plans, specifications, and inspection reports.
• Assist in preparing material lists and labor contracts.
• Assist with designing solar / wind farms, battery storage, substations, and utility interconnections, including AC / DC and low / medium / high voltage systems.
• Basic administration of material purchases and construction contracts.
• Provide guidance to designers and CAD operators.
• Interact with customers and vendors as needed.
• Proficiency in specific areas such as physical layout design, protection / control / SCADA, relay settings programming, field support, commissioning, relay testing.
• Supervise and train division Project Engineers I.
• Perform functions using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
