Position Summary

The BIM Assistant Coordinator will work closely with the BIM Manager and project teams to support the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in BIM software and a passion for digital construction and coordination.

Essential Functions

• Technical investigation into malfunctioning Building Information Modeling (BIM) on premise (and cloud) software used for 3-D design and documentation of building construction projects.
• Creation and organization of shared standard BIM drawings and details that can be used by all staff for design and documentation of building construction projects.
• Respond to staff who have submitted BIM help tickets to resolve technical modeling problems with project BIM files.
• Investigate and implement software updates for BIM software released by the software company on a quarterly basis.
• Participate in company meetings to communicate lessons learned and best practices for optimal utilization of BIM software.
• Creation, implementation and organization of shared automated programming scripts that can be used by all staff for regularly scheduled project pdf set production, BIM maintenance or project reporting.
• Analyze project BIM files to determine if project is adhering to company standards and provide feedback to design teams on compliance with company standards.
• Assist BIM Manager to provide technological support to the design and production team.
• Troubleshoot Revit software-related issues.
• Create new / maintain current WRA Revit families (BIM tickets) and Standard details.
• Aid in the BIM 360 process (creation and template maintenance).
• Audit Revit releases (report and present findings).
• Attend and / or lead mandatory BIM meetings.
• Create and maintain clarity projects and maintain software on the Clarity Leads and Architectural Staff to achieve organization goals.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.

Requirements

The salary this website provides for this position may or may not be aligned with the salary that WRA Architects pays for this position. The salary WRA will offer will commensurate with experience.
