Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and team management. This role will lead and mentor warehouse staff, implement process improvements, and uphold high standards for safety and productivity.
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse logistics, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution
- Monitor and track inventory movement; reconcile discrepancies and perform regular cycle counts
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, handling, and placement of inventory
- Lead and motivate a warehouse team to meet daily and weekly performance goals
- Implement and enforce company, state, and federal safety regulations and best practices
- Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy and timely deliveries
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching to foster growth and accountability
- Prepare reports on productivity, inventory levels, and team performance for management review
