Fuel Manager
The Fuel Manager is responsible for ensuring superior customer service in their store. They must develop Associates at all levels, drive sales and profitability, and maintain effective expense and payroll budget management. They will also ensure compliance with effective inventory management and merchandising practices and all store policies and procedures.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- To treat customers as guests with respect and courtesy while providing them with quick, friendly service. This includes greeting and acknowledge every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Genuine Customer Care.
- Analyzes and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
- Controls shrink, expenses and labor.
- Ensures appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
- Aware of competition activities and report results; shares information with supervisor and makes appropriate price recommendations.
- Reviews department / store trends. Recommends and initiates changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
- Ensures compliance with all laws, policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk through and audits, etc. Act as NFI's representative both within the store and within the community.
- Evaluates and reacts to performance issues.
- Train and develop store team in all aspects of the business; direct and monitor training and development for all store personnel.
- Processes information and merchandises through computer system and POS register system.
- Communicates with Associates and guests
- General upkeep of all machines (stores with gaming)
- Maintain bill breaker machine (stores with gaming)
- Bartending (stores with gaming)
- Promotes and support established programs
- Follows all Health Code guidelines
- Works within company programs, policies and procedures
- Follows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
- Other duties as assigned
