Freezer Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Freezer Forklift Operator to manage the accurate receiving and storage of products. Your role will ensure that all perishable and non-perishable goods are properly documented and stored in the appropriate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive all perishable products from outside vendors and storage facilities, ensuring correct counts and specifications.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of any unusual situations or discrepancies in product specs.
  • Receive and accurately weigh all dry ice, recording information on receiving sheets for supervisor review.
  • Transfer dry ice to the storage room efficiently and maintain accurate records of receiving.
  • Receive non-perishable products such as catalogs, cookbooks, dry goods, and premium items, ensuring correct counts and specifications.
  • Perform related duties as required, including stock rotation and maintaining product integrity by ensuring correct temperature environments.
  • Maintain clean and level pallets for inventory purposes.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in forklift operation with a minimum of 1-year experience.
  • Experience with inventory management and material handling.
  • Ability to operate RF scanners, sit down forklifts, pallet jacks, stand up and reach trucks.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations in both English and Spanish.
  • At least 6 months of receiving and inventory experience is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow and understand directions accurately.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes both freezer and dry side settings. The shift runs from 10 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 / hr.
