Freezer Forklift Operator
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Freezer Forklift Operator to manage the accurate receiving and storage of products. Your role will ensure that all perishable and non-perishable goods are properly documented and stored in the appropriate environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive all perishable products from outside vendors and storage facilities, ensuring correct counts and specifications.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any unusual situations or discrepancies in product specs.
- Receive and accurately weigh all dry ice, recording information on receiving sheets for supervisor review.
- Transfer dry ice to the storage room efficiently and maintain accurate records of receiving.
- Receive non-perishable products such as catalogs, cookbooks, dry goods, and premium items, ensuring correct counts and specifications.
- Perform related duties as required, including stock rotation and maintaining product integrity by ensuring correct temperature environments.
- Maintain clean and level pallets for inventory purposes.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in forklift operation with a minimum of 1-year experience.Experience with inventory management and material handling.Ability to operate RF scanners, sit down forklifts, pallet jacks, stand up and reach trucks.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations in both English and Spanish.At least 6 months of receiving and inventory experience is desirable.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow and understand directions accurately.Must be at least 18 years of age.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes both freezer and dry side settings. The shift runs from 10 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 / hr.
