Assistant Project Manager

An Assistant Project Manager supports project delivery from planning to closeout, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and documentation. They assist with procurement, RFIs, change orders, and safety compliance, while ensuring quality standards are met. The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving to keep projects on time and on budget.
The Project Manager will have :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in commercial, educational, multifamily, or institutional construction, preferably with a general contractor.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and trades - especially concrete, masonry, carpentry, and sitework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Procore or similar project management software a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
