Estimating Manager

Shift : M-F 9AM - 5PM

Pay :   $85,000 depending on experience

Location :   El Mirage, AZ plus  Traveling may be required

Job Description :

Define scope of work and deliverables

Determine resources needed to complete projects

Acquire permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites

Manage expenses to meet budget

Work with shop on production schedules and requirements

Provide progress updates when needed for costs and timelines

Handle delivery schedule and activities

Ensure work meets compliance with building and safety codes

Coordinate efforts on projects with architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors

Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements :

Candidates should expect to spend approximately six hours per day sitting and working at a computer. The remaining time would be spent walking or standing, with occasional handling of rolls of structural drawings. However, the candidate may be required to enter the shop from time to time.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in structural steel estimating.
• Demonstrated ability to manage small teams of direct reports.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of math, to include basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents from multiple

disciplines.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $87,000.00 - $87,000.00 Per Year
