Overview
The Detail Planning organization is currently looking for motivated candidates to support work instruction development and change maintenance for the COLUMBIA Class Program. In this role, you will create and maintain work instructions in support of manufacturing, assembly, installation for the Electrical Discipline.
This position will involve developing and maintaining work instructions in the Teamcenter IPDE toolset through collaboration with peers in Design, Engineering, and Operations. Additionally, you will be involved in the development of new processes, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will interface frequently with many different organizations across the company while professionally representing Planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities Include
- Development of work instructions for COLUMBIA Class
- Adherence to processes, procedures, and standards
- Collaboration with peers and supervisors for the development of new processes and procedures
- Completion of work in support of department goals related to quality and attainment
- Interfacing with organizations across Electric Boat in a professional manner
The seat location for this position will be New London, CT.
