Position Summary
The Operations Crew Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operational activities at PSQ events and productions. This includes supervising multiple Crew Leads and their teams, coordinating with vendors, ensuring adherence to safety and workplace protocols, and performing hands-on event labor when needed. The Crew Supervisor serves as the primary link between management and on-site crews, ensuring clear communication, operational efficiency, and a safe, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate multiple Crew Leads and their teams during events.
- Clearly communicate daily event schedules, goals, and crew assignments.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to new staff .
- Monitor crew performance, ensuring tasks are completed according to PSQ standards and deadlines.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts on site.
Hands-On Work
Participate in event setup, execution, and breakdown alongside the crew.Demonstrate proper techniques and processes for event tasks.Assist with organizing, maintaining , and transporting event equipment and supplies.Vendor & Equipment Coordination
Manage coordination with vendors for rental equipment such as lifts, tables, chairs, tents, etc.Confirm receipt and return of contracted items, verifying quantity and condition.Ensure crews use correct equipment and handle all PSQ tools and vehicles safely (golf carts, lifts, radios).Safety & Compliance
Enforce adherence to all PSQ workplace safety protocols.Ensure certified operators handle heavy equipment (scissor lift, forklift, boom lift).Monitor the use of PPE including helmets, high-visibility vests, and harnesses.Maintain awareness of site activities to prevent accidents.Daily Shift Duties
Start of Shift : Sign in, collect radio, collect supervisor keys, review work plan with managers, meet with crew leads.During Shift : Oversee tasks, ensure scheduled breaks, lunch before the 5 th hour , and afternoon break are taken.End of Shift : Ensure cleanup of worksite, return tools and vehicles, debrief with managers, and request supplies for next day if needed.Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in event operations or related field .Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of event setup procedures and equipment handling.Certified or willing to be certified in heavy equipment operation.Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
