Addison Group is partnering with a well-established digital marketing agency to identify a Media Partnership Specialist (Contract) to join their programmatic media team. Our client helps top consumer brands grow their presence across key platforms through creative, performance-driven, and data-informed media strategies.
This temporary position will focus on managing podcast and audio advertising partnerships, supporting campaigns for a client in the health and wellness sector.
Job Description
The Media Partnership Specialist will lead podcast media planning, outreach, and campaign execution for a portfolio of advertising partners. This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role that requires strong communication skills, experience in podcast ad buying, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for all direct partnership and podcast media initiatives.
Develop and execute podcast advertising strategies, including outreach to hosts and negotiation of rates for host‑read ads.
Maintain campaign timelines and ensure deliverables are met across multiple partners.
Collaborate with analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance and optimize based on key metrics.
Manage campaign wrap‑ups and performance reporting, including insights for client presentations.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging platforms, and new partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
4–7 years of media planning or ad buying experience, with strong background in podcast audio buys and host‑read ad campaigns.
Proficiency with tools such as Podscribe or similar podcast measurement platforms preferred.
Proven success negotiating advertising rates and managing vendor relationships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with client‑facing interactions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
Additional Details
Contract length : 6–8 weeks, anticipated through early December.
Start date : ASAP.
Hours : Flexible 20‑hour work week; ability to attend meetings aligned with EST hours.
