• Work day shifts, 7-10 hours on weekdays and weekends with rotating schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Call requirements : Yes
• Must have 2 years of hospital experience
• Required to scrub assist during cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Must be able to use MacLab system to record, measure and document during various cardiac procedures
• Must be able to operate cardiac stimulator (Bloom) and use MacLab recorder
• Work with equipment including MacLab, Volcano IVUS, MacLab hemo monitoring, Philips FD 20 and FD 10
• Documentation systems : Meditech and MacLab
• Required certifications : BLS, Active TX RN License (temporary licenses not accepted), RCIS or RCES
• Must float as needed per Methodist Floating Policy
• Preferred skills : EP scrub experience, cath and vascular procedures, Meditech experience
• Perform cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular procedures, and EP scrub assist including device implantations
• Care for adult patients exclusively
• Facility provides scrubs for Cath Lab staff
