job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior. Maintain clear and accurate records of all patrols, incidents, and observations in alignment with company and client protocols. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or client representatives regarding any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences observed during patrol duties. Support a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property by remaining alert and attentive during assigned shifts. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Security Guard - Unarmed Distribution Center in Whitestown, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by performing routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a bustling logistics and distribution location. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear and professional communication. - Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
