Position Summary :
Answers and directs calls coming in on main lines, to provide information to callers regarding programs and services and to page staff using the intercom and beepers.
Education / Experience :
Equivalent to graduation from high school and six (6) months of experience in the operation of a switchboard / telecommunications system.
- One (1) year of RECENT DOCUMENTED PBX Operator experience in a hospital setting.
- RECENT DOCUMENTED experience (within the last 5 years) using paging systems, radios or beepers; answering the hearing impaired line.
- Demonstrates flexibility with work schedule changes.
