Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter Solution Architect to join the team of IT professionals in this role.

Responsibilities :

• Overall proven ability in IT with 10+ years in implementation of Guidewire product.
• Confirmed experience in implementing Guidewire for both personal and commercial lines (ISO) is preferable.
• Validated experience as a Guidewire Application and Technical Architect in customer projects.
• Must have detailed understanding of Guidewire Architecture, Data Model, UI design, processes, and events.
• Strong technical skills and experience in .NET / Java, Web services, APIs as needed in integrations of Guidewire with other systems.
• Strong technical skills in XML, Java, and Angular with rich experience in crafting User Interfaces.
• Experience in integrating Guidewire product with in-house systems and third-party systems.
• Experience in configuring Guidewire in SaaS mode is desirable.
• Defines how the components of the applications relate to each other and how the new or existing systems will support the business need.
• Ensures that the application components align with the application architecture and meet application performance specifications.
• Identifies and addresses any application and data issues that affect application integrity.
• Evaluates and communicates any cross-area or cross-release issues that may change other project areas.
• Takes full responsibility for architecture for a large / sophisticated project or multiple projects.
• Crafts and reviews architectural decisions for the project.
• Builds and reviews estimates for the project and guides estimation for sophisticated projects.
• Provides technology domain consultation and technical solution for proposals.
• Performs competitive analysis of products and technology under mentorship.
• Finds opportunities in accounts and new technology areas.
• Crafts knowledge / certification artifacts and evaluation criteria.
• Mentors in building new areas of proficiency.
• Guides or provides technical training in relevant technology areas.
• Assists in the creation of solutions and other IP artifacts.
• Takes complete ownership of technology solution for a project.
• Builds a vision, then advises and drives to deliver the vision.
• Development and design tasks for this Policy Technical Solution Architect role include : Guidewire Manuscripts, inheritance modeling, environment configurations, XSLT, transforms, SQL Database queries and procedures, JavaScript, Java, and more.
• 7 13 years of Guidewire Policy Center configuration, integration, and implementation approach and inheritance design experience, including production support and new architectures with on-premise and On-Demand programs.
• Experience with Guidewire Policy and external (non-GW) Billing and Claims integrations is desired.
• Experience in key policy-related tools is desired : GW Insights, Channel Connect, Turnstile.
• Experience working with ISO Commercial Templates is desired.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for the position is between $100,470 $181,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
