What We Seek We are looking for a Manager, Property Tax to join our practice in Katy, TX. The right person brings experience, expertise, and an unrelenting drive to improve cash flows for clients.

You will need to have a self-driven, conscientious mentality with a commitment to creating innovations through high-quality work.

What Your Day Will Look Like The Manager works with the consulting team to provide high-level service to clients through accurate data analysis and industry-leading results throughout the property tax cycle.

They have a keen eye on details and an intuition to see things others don’t. In general, you can expect to : Perform detail reviews of asset data and supporting documentation for determining proper valuations for purposes of quantifying tax assessments Review and manage client contract terms, scope of services and fees.

Oversee client billing and ensures timely collection of receivables Manipulate and analyze raw data from various accounting and reporting systems Proactively secure tax abatements and exemptions Address complexities and issues that arise from client operations Manage the preparation, review and processing of tax documents for clients Maintain direct contact with clients and various appraisal districts Continuously develop tax expertise, analytical capabilities, and soft skills You’re perfect for this role if you : Keep high standards of accuracy and organization Enjoy meeting deadlines and feeling a sense of accomplishment Negotiate with confidence Think critically and recognize when something is off Communicate difficult and complicated topics with ease and simplicity Understand approaches to valuation of property Work well independently and as part of a team Build strong internal and external working relationships Manage your time well and prioritize tasks effectively What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field Four to six years of experience in a consulting firm (Big Four is a plus!) Strong Excel skills (bonus points if you know keyboard shortcuts) TDLR License or other certification / designation (e.
