- Has read, understands, and follows, all related Work Instructions as provided in the Work Instruction Manual.
- Directing the work and the training of their crew in a safe and efficient manner. The Press Operator can make suggestions for the additional training of individuals on their crew to the Plant Manager I or Shift Supervisor.
- Reporting any damage to equipment to the Plant Manager I or Shift Supervisor as soon as it occurs.
- Able to make press-side adjustments to inks for color-matches.
- Communicating all pertinent information to the Press Operator on the next crew.
- Understands and able to follow a write-up.
- Complete training as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by Shift Supervisors.
Education : High School diploma.
Training : Trade school. On the job with qualified Press Operator.
Experience : Press experience recommended.
Physical Demands : Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
Must have normal color vision acuity.
Must be able to stand for long periods as well as climb ladders occasionally.
Must possess the manual dexterity to successfully operate various measuring devices.
Must be able to work with solvent and water-based inks.
Must be able to pass background and drug testing.
