CareLink is a non-profit network of senior care providers working together to ensure that adults in our community can access the services and supports they need at the times when it matters most.
CareLink currently provides mobile wellness services including dentistry, podiatry, audiology in sub-acute care settings throughout RI, and is looking to add massage therapy services as well.
In this role, the Licensed Massage Therapist would see clients at multiple network sites (skilled nursing, assited living, and outpatient facilities) across RI on a per-diem basis.
Compensation :
Per-diem LMT : $37-$55 / hr depending on experience (not eligible for benefits or shift differential)
Position Overview : The Massage Therapist is responsible for prescribing and administering Massage Therapy to clients who enroll in and wish to receive services under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation.
The Massage Therapist may also participate in other program building activities including student oversight, educational fairs and other marketing events.
Massage Therapist will provide per diem services primarily at skilled nursing facilities throughout Rhode Island.
Primary Responsibilities :
Must be able to operate in the area of practice (massage); apply indications and contraindications according to patient diagnosis and standard operating procedures.
Requirements :
Education / Experience Required :
- Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program
- Current licensed as a Massage Therapist in the state of Rhode Island
- One year clinical experience
- Experience working with geriatric population preferred
