Office of the Registrar is looking for Graduate students seeking a part-time position to provide support and assistance.

  • Provides support to faculty, staff and students and performs duties as assigned.
  • Assists with complex tasks and imaging related to record keeping and documentation.
  • Organizes communications and written materials to increase department efficiency.
  • Assists with special projects, assigned office tasks, preparation of communications, and planning and execution of events.
  • Provides specialized support that requires computer skills, data entry accuracy and software savviness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a regional accredited institution.
  • Be a current full-time UTRGV Graduate student (9 hours during the Fall or Spring semester and 6 hours during Summer months).
  • Be able to work physically at the Edinburg Campus.
  • Must have a superior level of customer service.
  • Must have excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to learn various operational systems.
  • Work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Must possess superior interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized multitasker
  • Must be able to prioritize work in order to meet multiple deadlines.
  • 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus (speak, read, and write).
