JOB DESCRIPTION
General Summary of the Position :
- Make repairs to finished concrete products using different power tools and equipment / Working with power tools to create wooden trusses
- Demolition and site clean up
- Ground work
Essential Functions :
- Willing to work in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Loading and Offloading of trucks
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
- Construct wooden concrete forms using blueprints, shop drawing and previous experience.
- Patch finished concrete product.
- Maintain a clean job site : pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
- Material handling and storage.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Abilities and Understanding
- Understanding of proper use of equipment, tools, materials & supplies used in concrete production and finishing.
- Blueprint reading and understanding in relation to construction of wood forms
- SAFETY - Understanding and practice of.
- Being able to meet production budget and schedule while working independently.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.
- COMMUNICATE - the ability to verbally elaborate on details
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time and leave on time
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of General Construction Labor, prepping job sites, cleaning up construction trash and debris
COMPENSATION :
Based on proven work experience, work history, and knowledge of the industry.
