We are seeking Behavior Technicians to join our team at our program in Grand Rapids , Michigan .

If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you!

No experience required- we provide PAID clearances, training and have opportunities for clinical supervision towards licensure.

Earn $; Monday-Friday during program hours 9 : 00am-7 : 30pm

POSITION DETAILS

• At Merakey, you can make a change in the life of a child. Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis ABA) to provide 1 : 1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent / staff correspondence and all required documentation.
• You will get to have fun and let your personality shine while applying individualized treatment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills :

Required :

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
• Availability to work during operation hours of 9 : 00am - 7 : 30 pm Monday - Friday.

Preferred :

• 3-6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification OR ability to complete 40 hours of competency-based training within 1-2 weeks of employment.
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.
