My client is an fast growing, highly regarded, restaurant group that has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their team! Overseeing a small team, this would be a perfect role for someone who is hungry to grow with this young company.
The Role :
- Responsible for all financial functions of the business ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure everything is compliant with all federal and state tax-filing obligations in all of its respective operating markets
- Ensure accurate cash forecasting to support any funding requests to Group
- Prepare monthly management reports including departmental PNL
- Resolving queries and suggesting improvements to service
- Monitoring and evaluating all financial information
- Balance sheet reconciliations ensure comprehension
- Ensure that the management teams are properly supported to fulfil their roles and financial scope
The Person :
- CPA required
- Experience within restaurants essential
- Relevant qualifications within finance or accounting
- Bubbly, positive, outgoing attitude
- Experience within the hospitality industry
- Extremely motivated, self-starter
- Someone who thrives in a high volume environment
- Excellent communication skills
