AVER is seeking multiple Data Analysts to support a long-term program for the OCFO within Homeland Security. The mission is to increase data-driven decisions by developing and integrating analytical tools across multiple tasks.
This Data Analyst will be responsible for building dashboards and reports to support data analysis deliverables and respond to ad-hoc requests that enable key stakeholders and SMEs to make informed data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities :
Gather information from various sources and assemble the information into comprehensive work products (i.e. dashboards, reports, briefings etc.
for leadership's information.
- Synthesizing large data sets and creating visually appealing charts, graphs, reports, and dashboards
- Identify and implement model enhancements, document and understand workload drivers, and incorporate forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Collect, maintain and update operational data from SME's and systems of record.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technically relevant degrees.
Experience Requirements :
- 3 years of professional experience working with Data supported Federal clients.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau, Tableau Desktop, R and / or RStudio
- Translate complex data into easily understood concise data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations.

- Ability to apply advanced concepts of operations research and statistics in solving a variety of complex problems.
