A local firm located in the Springfield, MA area is actively seeking an Audit Consultant for an immediate opening. The Audit Consultant will be responsible for assisting in audit planning / fieldwork, preparation of audit workpapers and financial statements, and assisting clients with potential mergers and acquisitions.
The Audit Consultant will perform the following : Responsibilities : Assist in audit planning and fieldworkPreparation of audit workpapers and financial statements according to GAAPReview work performed by other team members while providing constructive feedbackAnswer technical and procedural questions from team membersEnsure compliance with internal quality control proceduresAssist clients with potential mergers and acquisitionsPerform audits, reviews, and compilations (for-profit and non-profit)Qualifications : Bachelors degree in accounting or financeCPA certification preferred5+ years of public accounting experienceAbility to research pronouncementsAbility to work in a team environmentCompensation Package : Up to $120,000 DOEInterested candidates should submit all resumes to Sam Farnsworth via email at [email protected]*MONKBW*#LI-SF1KBW789
